Production facility

Established in 1967, the Division of Media and Technology – DMT, at the University of Saskatchewan, has proven itself to be a pioneer in technology enhanced learning. Over the past 36 years DMT has grown and diversified and has gained international recognition for the quality and uniqueness of its work.

DMT provides media and technology for all Colleges and Departments of the University of Saskatchewan as well as to the broader community. For over three decades it has developed expertise in all aspects of television systems including video production, transmission and distribution. For almost two decades it has been involved with the television delivery of education via satellite, and video conferencing. For over one decade, it has contracted with SCN (the Saskatchewan Communications Network) to provide Broadcast Network Operations for its public information and educational channel.

DMT has won numerous awards for their documentaries, educational and technical videos. In addition DMT is fully committed to Multimedia Production: web design, streaming and programming; CDROM and DVD Authoring and Duplication; 2D and 3DAnimation; E-biz Card Creation; Digital Graphics and Photography; and Video Conferencing.

A New Life in a New Land is produced with the support of the Department of Religious Studies, University of Saskatchewan and in association with the Division of Media and Technology, providing state of the art digital video production and post-production services.
