Michael Milo: (Producer/Director)

Milo has a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Calgary as well as having done supplemental studies at the prestigious Banff Centre for the Arts and various media arts centers through out Canada . Milo is a seasoned television producer and director and has had his work broadcast on networks across Canada and internationally. He is currently a producer, chief editor and post- production supervisor at the Division of Media and Technology, University of Saskatchewan . His experience includes teaching, training and technical coordination at video and media production houses across Canada . 

Milo's work has received considerable attention at acclaimed festivals through out North America including: two Awards of Creative Excellence at the US International Film and Video Festival in Los Angeles; a Bronze Plaque and Honorable Mentions at the Columbus International Film and Video Festival ; a Panasonic Award at the Association for Media and Technology in Education in Canada Festival ; and Nomination for a Golden Sheaf Award at the Yorkton Festival .

His recent documentary television series A New Life in a New Land: The Muslim Experience in Canada has been viewed nationally and internationally. Recently it was screened at the Canadian Museum of Nature, Ottawa where it received great acknowledgement from Canadian government officials, international dignitaries, and community leaders.
